What is artificial rice, and how to produce artificial rice?

Corn rice, commonly known as "artificial rice", is gelatinized granular, light yellow, translucent, soft texture, good taste, easy to digest, cholesterol-free. If proper amount of oat flour, soybean flour and some nutrients are added into the raw corn flour, the fortified corn rice can be made.

Material cleaning, peeling, degermination, powder making, water spraying, stirring, shaping, cooling, drying, screening and finished products
2. Operating Essentials
(1) Material cleaning.
Pure maize was obtained by screening out impurities in maize.
(2) Desquamation and degermination.
Corn endosperm can be obtained after peeling and de-embryonization, when the moisture content of corn kernels is less than 15% and the water content is 1.5%-2%, which can be wetted for 40-60 minutes, and the moisture content can reach 16%-18%.
(3) Powder making.
It is advisable to crush the endosperm of maize and pass through 20 mesh sieve.
(4) Spraying and mixing.
Put corn flour into the agitator, spray appropriate amount of water mist on the corn flour, and stir at the same time, so that the water completely seeps into the corn flour, and the water absorption is even and balanced.
(5) Forming.
The sprayed corn flour is directly extruded through the extruder, heated and expanded (temperature is about 200 C), extruded for about 1.5 minutes. The extruded corn flour is fed into a continuous cutter and cut into granules the size of rice.

(6) Cooling.
Formed corn should be properly cooled to disperse the sticky grains.
(7) Drying.
The cooled corn is fed into a hot air drying box and dried at 110 C until the moisture content is about 14%.
(8) Screening.
The dried corn is separated by screening machine from the sticky and crushed rice grains, and the finished product is obtained.
